Persian – Mediterranean
Every dish here begins with my mother, Iran, and the recipes she has never written down. She keeps them in her hands and her memory, in a kitchen in Tehran, and she taught me that to cook for someone is to make love visible. — Reza Parhizkaran

About Dinner at Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar
Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar serves Persian and Mediterranean dinner nightly at two locations: Chelsea in Manhattan (111 W 17th St, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, minutes from Union Square and the Flatiron District) and White Plains in Westchester (80 Mamaroneck Ave, a short walk from the White Plains Metro-North station). Every dish begins with the unwritten recipes of Chef Reza's mother, Iran, who never writes anything down. Signatures include charcoal-grilled kabobs, slow-simmered Ghormeh Sabzi, and Fesenjoon with pomegranate and walnut. The cellar holds 235+ wines, and the White Plains location is honored with the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2024, a three-time MICHELIN Bib Gourmand (2020, 2021, 2022), and a Very Good rating from The New York Times. Reservations are available on OpenTable, and delivery is available through DoorDash.
