OUR STORY

Shiraz Kitchen and Wine Bar is built on something very simple: cooking with love and welcoming people like family. My name is Reza Parhizkaran. When I was a child, I used to call myself the sous-chef and busboy of my mother’s kitchen in Tehran. It was there that I learned not only how to cook, but how to welcome everyone to the table with the same warmth and generosity. My father, with his big heart, always showed me that it didn’t matter who someone was—everyone deserved the same kindness and hospitality. That spirit of openness is what I wanted to bring to New York. Shiraz Kitchen is my way of sharing that feeling in Chelsea and White Plains. Our dining rooms may look different, but the idea is the same: real food, real hospitality, and a table that feels alive with the warmth of home. When you step into Shiraz Kitchen, you’ll be greeted like an old friend. The aromas of fresh herbs and spices will remind you of a home-cooked meal, and the care we put into every dish will make you feel like you truly belong.
